Canoeing Holidays
We provide guided canoeing tours on Lake Pielinen (the fifth largest lake in Finland) and on the rivers connected with Lake Pielinen.
The views of the tour give you the possibility to enjoy the clean and wild nature and its silence. Here you can leave the rush behind and feel the time stop.

Day programmes / Route description:
1st day:
Arrival at the Holiday Village Timitraniemi in the afternoon, welcome coffee and tour information, accommodating in holiday cottages for 3-4 persons, dinner, sauna bath and cold supper.
2 - 5 canoeing days, canoeing 3 - 5 hours/day
Canoeing ends on the evening of the last canoeing day at the Holiday Village Timitraniemi, where we are welcomed by a soft bath in a lakeside sauna. After that we enjoy a delicious dinner and the good company of other tour participants.
Departure day: breakfast, final tasks and leaving for home.
Description of difficulty:
Varies from normal to difficult. Basic physical condition is enough for taking part in the tours. Former canoeing experience is not necessarily needed. We take notice of the degree and the canoeing experience of the group when planning the tour.

5 - 20 persons
Equipment:
The client takes care of his own clothing and personal belongings.
Price:
The price is determined by the duration, group size and the content of the canoeing packet.
The price includes:
Guidance, food, accommodation, canoeing equipment and insurances.
We mainly use Indian canoes for two persons.

It is possible to have different kind of programme, for example learning to cook game dishes with a chef cook, picking berries or mushrooms, fishing, bathing in a smoke sauna, excursions around Lake Pielinen etc
