10. River Jongunjoki

The river Jongunjoki has its starting point in Lake Jonkerinjärvi in Kuhmo and it flows into the river Lieksanjoki. The route has natural beauty, wilderness and several quick rapids. The fall of the 68- km-long route is 80 m. The route is not recommended for beginners during high water. It is also possible to canoe shorter sections of the route.
