In Kuhmo you have the possibility to participate in various canoeing trips. Due to our location on the headwaters of the rivers  Oulujoki and Vuoksi we have a variety of  versatile lake and river waterways to paddle on. Sometimes we also direct our trip to Russia. Right after the border the waters start flowing into the third direction, that is towards the White Sea.
 
You can hire open canoes and equipment from us and we organise transport services for independent paddlers.

We organise canoeing training for beginners before a canoeing trip or as a separate course.

A speciality for our guests is to try out the exciting swimming in the rapids Pajakkakoski in the centre of Kuhmo. The rapid can be swum all year round.

As our newest products we offer possibilities for observing nature animals. We have huts for observing beavers, capercaillies and black grouses. The flying quirrel is also a regular visitor on the feeding place.
