Instructions for visitors to national parks
- Walking, skiing, rowing and canoeing, as well as picking wild berries and mushrooms, is permitted except in the restricted areas.
- Camping and lighting campfires is only permitted at places designated for this purpose. During times of high winds or when a forest fire warning has been issued visitors must do their cooking in their boat, or use a picnic stove or a cooking shelter.
- Angling witk rod and line is permitted in Linnansaari National Park in accordance with the Fishing Act. Lure fishing and net fishing permits can also be purchased for the area. In Kolovesi National Park there is an area where all fishing is prohibited, but outside this area rod-and-line angling and lure fishing is permitted. - Hunting is prohibited in the national parks
- Pets must be kept on leash.
- Littering, damaging the soil and vegetation, and disturbance to animals is prohibited.
